When students enter year 10 they start on their Cambridge IGCSE journey. The Cambridge IGCSE curriculum offers a variety of routes for learners with a wide range of abilities, including those whose first language is not English.
Cambridge IGCSE offers a flexible and stimulating curriculum, supported with excellent resources and training. For learners, Cambridge IGCSE helps improve performance by developing skills in creative thinking, enquiry and problem solving. It is the perfect springboard to advanced study.

The syllabuses are international in outlook, but retain a local relevance. They have been created specifically for an international student body and avoid cultural bias.
All IGCSE Courses last for 2 years and end with external examinations which will be taken at the end of Year 11.

ks4 Thai
At SIH it is very important that students learn the Thai language. Despite being an International school whose medium of learning is English it is vital that students study Thai language and culture throughout their school years. At SIH we offer two different levels for Thai classes.
Thai First Language
We offer Thai First Language lessons to pupils with spoken Thai at mother tongue level.
Thai Foreign Language
We also offer Thai as a Foreign Language lessons to pupils who do not speak Thai at mother tongue level.
