Year 2- Volcano

Year 2 looked at the different parts of the volcano, using technical words such as magma chamber and vents. They used these words to explain how a volcano erupts. They then built their volcanoes (using the papier-mâché method) and painted it in groups of 2. They then made a fair scientific experiment investigating the chemical reaction between baking soda and vinegar, which produced the lava-like eruption. Year 2 was incredibly excited over the 3 different eruptions and were very proud of their work during this area of their IPC topic.
