Early Years have been super busy with STEM this week. Our theme was Fairy tales in STEM. On Monday, we made paper aeroplanes and had races flying them to see who's went the furthest and built houses for our 3 Little pigs story. On Tuesday, we looked at Jack and the beanstalk and made parachutes for Jack to use when he escaped the giants castle. On Wednesday, we made Gyro-copters and flew them. We put pegs on them and added more pegs to see if they flew faster or span faster. Finally, on Thursday, we looked at The 3 Billy Goats and made boats out of tin foil and released them in some water and watched them float.
