- คืน “เวลา” ของ “ความเป็นเด็ก” -
“ความเป็นเด็ก” เกิดขึ้นแค่ช่วงเวลาหนึ่งในชีวิต และไม่อาจหวนคืนกลับมาอีก เพราะต่อให้ผู้ใหญ่บางคนอยากกลับไปเป็นเด็กอีกครั้ง หรือ “ทำตัวเป็นเด็กๆ” ก็ไม่อาจเรียก “ความเป็นเด็ก” กลับมาได้จริง จะว่ายาวนาน ก็คงไม่ใช่เพราะหากถูกใช้ไปกับภาระหน้าที่อันหนักอึ้งเกินวัย “เวลา” ก็ช่วงชิงความเป็นเด็กให้หายไปไวเช่นกัน
“เด็ก” ยังไม่ใช่ซูเปอร์ฮีโร่ ที่ต้องมาพร้อมประโยคที่ว่า “With great power comes great responsibility” “พลังที่ยิ่งใหญ่ มาพร้อมกับความรับผิดชอบอันใหญ่ยิ่ง” นั่นเอาไว้ใช้ในวันที่มี “ความเป็นผู้ใหญ่อย่างสมบูรณ์” แต่เด็ก สามารถกลายเป็นซูเปอร์ฮีโร่ได้เสมอ ในอนาคตหากเขามีเวลา ในการค้นหาตัวเอง และพ่อแม่ก็มี “เวลา” ในการแสวงหาตัวตนและความต้องการที่แท้จริงให้ลูก มีเวลาเติมความรัก ความเข้าใจและเติมการเรียนรู้บนโลกใบใหม่ ที่ไม่ใช่แค่ในห้องเรียน แต่ทำได้ในทุกช่องว่างระหว่างชีวิตวัยเด็ก ที่ “ความสนุก” คือต้นทางสู่การเปิดใจรับการเรียนรู้ทุกศาสตร์ให้เข้ามาสู่โลกของเขา
ใครบอกว่า “โรงเรียนไม่ใช่ที่วิ่งเล่น” เพราะ “โรงเรียน” คือประตูบานแรกที่มอบคำว่า “จินตนาการสู่อนาคต” ให้เด็กๆ อย่างแท้จริง ต้นทาง “ความฝัน” “ตัวตน” “เรียนรู้” “อยู่เป็น” และ “แบ่งปัน” โรงเรียนจึงต้องเป็นสถานที่ ที่เด็กๆ ต้องรู้สึก “สนุก” ก่อนเป็นอันดับแรกนั่นคือกุญแจไขสู่อนาคตของเขา ในช่วงเวลาสำคัญของชีวิต เพราะประตูที่เปิดรออยู่ในวันแรกที่ก้าวออกจากบ้าน มาเรียนรู้โลกกว้างคือ “ประตูโรงเรียน” และคนที่จูงมือลูกเดินเข้าประตูบานนั้นคือ “พ่อแม่” ทีนี้ก็อยู่ที่พ่อแม่แล้วล่ะว่า จะจูงมือเขาเดินเข้าประตูบานไหน ระหว่าง “ประตูแห่งความรับผิดชอบอันยิ่งใหญ่” หรือ“ประตูแห่งความเป็นเด็กอย่างแท้จริง”
บางที...เราอาจจะยังไม่แน่ใจในคำตอบ ลองค้นหาคำตอบจาก “รอยยิ้มลูก”
หากวันไหนที่เขาบอกเราว่า “อยากมาโรงเรียนทุกวัน” นั่นคือคำตอบ และจงมั่นใจได้เลยว่าเราได้คืน “เวลา” ของ “ความเป็นเด็ก” ให้เขาอย่างคุ้มค่าที่สุดแล้ว
Childhood is a unique and irreplaceable time in a person's life. Even if an adult desires to relive or pretend to be a child again, it cannot truly replicate the experience of childhood. When a child's time is consumed by difficult tasks beyond their capacity, it steals their childhood period.
Children are not yet superheroes but as the saying goes, ‘With great power, comes great responsibility’. This phrase applies to fully grown adults. However, children have the potential to become superheroes in the future, if given time to find themselves and support from their parents to discover their identities and passions. This involves spending time together, having fun, exploring new knowledge and experiences outside the classroom and not forgetting, fostering love and understanding.
The idea that 'school is not a place to have joy' is incorrect. School is the first door that offers children the opportunity to imagine and shape their future. It is where they begin to dream, learn, develop their identity, gain skills for independent living and share experiences with others. Therefore, schools should prioritise creating a fun and enjoyable learning environment that is crucial to a child's future success. This is particularly important as it marks the transition from the familiar home environment to the new world and environment of school.
Parents play a crucial role in guiding their children towards the right door, either the 'door of great responsibilities' the 'door of real childhood'. To determine which path to choose, one can look at a child's smile. If they express a desire to go to school every day, it means that their childhood is being valued and preserved, bringing them the greatest joy and fulfilment in life.
