Out of this world การเดินทางออกจากโลกอันคุ้นเคย...สู่โลกแห่งความจริง ความจริงที่ว่า...เราคือส่วนเล็กๆ ของจักรวาล โลกของเรา...เล็กกว่าจักรวาล โลกของเด็กๆ...เล็กกว่าโลก เพราะโลกของเขา...เท่าที่ตามองเห็น หน้าที่ของครูและโรงเรียน...คือพาเขาไปรู้จักโลกภายนอก ผ่านการเรียน เรียนรู้ ทั้งในห้องเรียนและนอกห้องเรียน เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมให้เขาเข้าใจ...ว่าโลกใบโตเป็นเช่นไร ให้เขามองเห็น...ว่าโลกใบโต ยังมีอะไรที่โตกว่า ออกจากโลกของตัวเอง...ไปทำความรู้จักโลก ออกจากโลก...ไปทำความรู้จักจักรวาล แล้วเรียนรู้...ที่จะกลับมาเข้าใจ โลกภายในใจตัวเอง หากโลกภายในใจ กับโลกภายนอก ทำความคุ้นเคยกันได้เร็วเท่าไร เขาจะใช้ชีวิตอยู่บนโลกนี้ได้อย่างมีความสุข อย่างคนที่เข้าใจความเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของจักรวาล เข้าใจตัวเอง และยินดีเปิดรับการเรียนรู้ใหม่ๆ อยู่เสมอ
“Out of this world” คือหัวใจของการเรียนประจำปีการศึกษานี้ของ SIH ที่ร้อยเรียงทุกๆ การเรียนรู้ของเด็กๆ ไว้ด้วยกันตลอดปี จนนำมาสู่ธีมหลักของงาน SIH Summer Showcase 2023 งานสิ้นสุดปีการศึกษาที่คุณครูและเด็กๆ ทุกคน จากทุกๆ ชั้นปี ร่วมแรงร่วมใจกันสร้างมันขึ้นมา ด้วยสองมือเล็กๆ ของทุกคน
‘To the moon and back’ คือความหวังที่เราอยากเห็นเด็กๆ ทุกคนไปให้ได้ไกลที่สุด เท่าที่ศักยภาพตัวเองจะทำได้ ออกไปใช้ชีวิต และกลับมาเข้าใจชีวิตให้ได้เสมอ SIH Family ร่วมยินดีกับทุกๆ ก้าวแห่งความสำเร็จของเด็กๆ และภูมิใจนำเสนอ...งานที่เราทุกคนทำด้วยหัวใจเดียวกัน เตรียมพบกับภาพแห่ง “การเดินทางไกล...ไปค้นหาจักรวาลของเด็กๆ” ในวันพรุ่งนี้ See you tomorrow.
"Out of this world" - A journey beyond the familiar realm into reality. In reality, we are just a small part of the vast universe and our planet is a mere speck within it. Similarly, children's worlds are confined to what their eyes can perceive. Therefore, it is the responsibility of teachers and schools to introduce them to the outside world through education. Learning should occur both inside and outside the classroom, enabling them to comprehend the broader scope of the world. By venturing beyond their own limited world, they can discover the vastness that lies beyond. Eventually, they may even explore the universe itself. Once they have gained knowledge of other realms, they can return to understanding their own world from a new perspective.
The quicker their inner world becomes familiar with the outside world, the happier they will be in reality. Just as someone who comprehends the universe understands themselves and remains open to acquiring new knowledge.
"Out of this world" serves as the overarching theme for this academic year at SIH. It has been gradually incorporated into the curriculum for all classes, culminating in our main event, the "SIH Summer Showcase 2023." This event represents the collective efforts of every student in the school, regardless of age.
"To the moon and back" signifies our aspiration to witness the extent to which they can push their potential. They will embark on a journey to explore the real world and return with a deeper understanding of their own lives, as always.
The SIH Family would like to congratulate each and every student on their achievements, applauding their every step toward success. We take pride in presenting our masterpiece, which we have created together with the same unwavering passion. We invite everyone to join us tomorrow on this extended voyage to explore the extraordinary realms beyond, as seen through the eyes of our SIH students.
